[Goal] Gennaro Gattuso: David Beckham Wants To Stay At Milan
加图索:小贝愿意留在米兰
Gattuso has been impressed by the Englishman’s impact in Serie A and is confident that ‘Becks’ is willing to remain in the peninsula
[Goal] 银河主帅阿里纳对小贝放行, LA Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena Opens The Door To Beckham's Milan Stay
Arena has changed his stance on the Becks affair, perhaps influenced by the player's intention on staying in Italy...
Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena has given up hope of stopping Milan from keeping David Beckham on a permanent deal as he concedes the MLS club will take action for the benefit of all involved in the deal.
Arena has always shown a fist of steel and was adamant on having Beckham back, but he has changed his stance after the England midfielder stated his desire was to remain in Milan, rather than fly back to Hollywood.
Whatever happens, Arena told the club's official website.
Whichever the outcome of the deal, it will be for the good of the club. This is a deal and we are waiting to see exactly what happens, which is the same as what we usually do with any other Galaxy deal.
Of course, we will always put the needs of the club and team first.
I just hope that all the news about Beckham does not create any distractions or complications for my players during our preparations.
The latest reports from Italy suggest the Englishman is looking to buy the famous Villa Mozart property just outside the Italian fashion capital.

David Beckham: I Will Pay To Stay At Milan
‘Becks’ has sensationally revealed he is ready to say no to money in order to stay on in Milan...
Milan midfielder David Beckham is so keen on extending his time with the club that he is willing to take a massive wage cut in order to do so.
Speculation over the player's future has been rife in the Italian media over the last month. Los Angeles Galaxy want him back, but both Beckham and Milan have stated their desire to extend the deal.
The player's legal team are working to find a way to help the deal conclude in Milan's favour. Meanwhile, ‘Becks’ has, once again, reiterated his desire to remain in Italy.
At the moment Milan are more important to me than the money,” Beckham told Il Corriere Dello Sport. “I want to think about football first and about my career.
It's important for me to be allowed to stay at Milan permanently so I can have the chance to play regularly and to be part of England's World Cup 2010 squad.
I haven't spoken to the Galaxy yet, but someone is doing this on my behalf. I am really hoping that a deal can be reached.
The England international has made a great impact on the Diavoli’s side as he battles hard to impress Three Lions coach Fabio Capello. Beckham admits that he never expected his time at Milan to evolve so positively.
I had a feeling I would do well, but I didn't expect to have so much fun,” added the Englishman. “The approach during training and the atmosphere are the best I have ever experienced in my entire football career.
[Carlo] Ancelotti is an important coach and, when you enter the dressing room, you begin to feel the great atmosphere.
[Paolo] Maldini has also helped me settle down. He has charisma and personality and he is a great friend.
David Beckham has clearly expressed his intentions: My wish is to remain with AC Milan and I hope that the two clubs will soon find an agreement because I would like to end my career here. I have not talked to the Galaxy, my lawyers did and they have conveyed my message. Playing for AC Milan is better than I expected, they really are one of the greatest clubs in the world.
