Dario Šimić 达里奥.西米奇 (born November 12, 1975 in Zagreb, Croatia) is a Croatian football player who currently plays for A.C. Milan of the Italian Serie A. Nicknamed 'The Pitbull' for his fearsome competitiveness, Šimić is a versatile defender who can play at full-back, sweeper or central defender. He is the only player who featured in all of Croatia's major tournaments since the country's independence and is also the Croatian national team's all-time cap leader with a total of 97 international caps.

Šimić made his name with Dinamo Zagreb where he started his professional football career in 1992. He played for Dinamo for seven seasons, during which the club won five Croatian First League titles and also became a member of the Croatian national football team.

Šimić appeared in only one out of four matches played by Croatia at the Euro 1996, but was then a regular member of the starting line-up at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, where Croatia finished third, and appeared in six out of seven matches at the tournament, only missing the third-place match as he was not eligible to play after being given two yellow cards in the previous two matches. His performances in France earned the attentions of Europe's biggest clubs and he went on to join Inter Milan in January 1999 after also playing with Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League in the autumn of 1998. However, he never established himself as a first-team regular during four years in Inter, and the cross-city rivals agreed a player swap with 躮it Davala going in the opposite direction in 2002.

He played for Croatia in two out of three group matches at the 2002 FIFA World Cup as well as in all three group matches at the Euro 2004. The Croatian team was eliminated in the first round on both of these two tournaments. On the club level, he made a more significant contribution with AC Milan including 13 appearances on the road to victory in the 2003 UEFA Champions League, though he was omitted from the Old Trafford final.

In May 2006, he signed a contract extension with Milan that will keep him at the club until 2009, just weeks after openly criticizing coach Carlo Ancelotti over lack of playing time.

At the 2006 FIFA World Cup, he appeared in all of the Croatian team's three group matches before they were eliminated from the tournament with two draws and one defeat. The second group match against Japan on June 18, 2006 in Nuremberg was also notable for being his 82nd for Croatia, which enabled him to surpass Robert Jarni's record-holding 81 caps and became the Croatian team's all-time cap leader. In the final group match, a 2-2 draw against Australia, he was sent off five minutes from time after receiving his second yellow card.

Alongside experienced Robert Kovač and Igor Tudor he is considered one of the best Croatian defenders in recent history. Šimić also scored three goals for Croatia and last time he was on target with a last-minute goal for their 3-2 victory in a friendly match against Argentina on March 1, 2006 in Basel.

Darijo Srna 达里奥.SRNA 囧 这么怎么拼啊 色狼？ (born on May 1, 1982 in Metković[1]) is a Croatian footballer who plays for Shakhtar Donetsk. He plays in the right midfield wing position for Croatia, but he plays in the right-back position for Shakhtar Donetsk. He has scored many goals from free kicks and penalty kicks, and often makes precise crosses.

Career
Srna started his career in Hajduk Split, where he was considered one of their best players. In 2003 he was sold, along with Stipe Pletikosa, to Shakhtar Donetsk.[2] Srna was part of the Croatian national team in Euro 2004, where he played in two games.[3]

In September 2006 he was temporarily dropped from the Croatian squad for a Euro 2008 qualifying match with Russia because of a late night partying in a local disco along with teammates Boško Balaban and Ivica Olić.[4]

Srna also starred in all 3 games of Croatia's 2006 World Cup campaign where he was strictly criticized for his penalty miss against Japan, although highly praised and remembered for his spectacular 30 yard free kick which put Croatia ahead against Australia in the match that ended 2-2 and saw Croatia therefore exit from the group stage.

After the World Cup, two-time European Cup winners SL Benfica were after the player's signature but nothing materialized, with what many consider Benfica bidding again in the Winter Market.

Srna was considered the hero of the match when he came on as a substitute against Macedonia in a Euro 2008 qualifying match and scored shortly after from a free kick which was shot into the right corner of the goal.[5] In the 88th minute he provided a cross which found fellow teammate Eduardo da Silva, and allowed him to score and *** a win for Croatia.

Ivica Olić [ivitsa 奥利奇] (born September 14, 1979) is a Croatian football player who, as of February 2007, is playing for Hamburger SV.

Club Career
Olić was born and raised in the village of Davor near Slavonski Brod, Croatia. He started playing football for the local club Marsonia in 1996, and spent two good seasons there before he was acquired by Hertha Berlin in 1998. He did not see much play there and returned home to Marsonia the following year.

After another successful season at Marsonia (in the 2000/01 season he scored 17 goals in 29 games), in 2001 he moved to NK Zagreb where he would score 21 goals in 28 appearances and help his team to win the league. The following season he moved to Dinamo Zagreb, where he scored 16 goals in 27 games, and became the best striker of the Croatian First League.

In 2003, he was acquired by CSKA. His form rose gradually, and in the 2005 season he contributed 10 goals in twice as many games.

In January 2007 he moved to Hamburger SV, playing his first Bundesliga game with them against Energie Cottbus on January 31.[1] He was signed because Hamburg were in deep trouble, finishing in the relegation zone before the winter break. It worked out in the end and Hamburg finished seventh, which even acquired them an Intertoto Cup place. He scored two goals in the last match in the 2006-07 Bundesliga season against Alemannia Aachen in a 4-0 win. In October 2007 Olić scored a hat-trick in the Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart, which Hamburg won 4:1. He was the first player in the history of the club, who scored three successive goals in one half.

Olić was part of the Croatian national team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup where he played in two games and scored one goal, but an important one against Italy. He also played three games for Croatia in Euro 2004, and two games in 2006 FIFA World Cup.

In September 2006 he was dropped from Croatian squad for a qualifying match for one game due to a late-night partying binge together with Darijo Srna and Boško Balaban.

Ivica is often praised by the fans for his hard work with large amounts of stamina efforts on the pitch, with ability to draw 2 to 3 defenders on him.

He was named man of the match in the match at Wembley in which Croatia defeated England 2:3. He scored the second goal in the match, which gave Croatia a two goal lead against England, who couldn't recover and were knocked out of the European Cup held in 2008.
