我还整了一段英文去帮老外普及。
Some lore about the two Monkey kings. In the origional fiction, there were four blessed monkeys in the Chinese Mythology. In terms of their supernatual power, Wukong ranks No. 2. A very close no. 3 is the blessed monkey with 6 ears (6-ear) which also mastered the 72-transformation, among other Taoism techniques. There is a Chapter that Wukong and 6-ear encountered. They can hardly defeat each other, while 6-ear transformed himself into Wukong and no one can tell their difference. They then had to seek help from gods and buddhas to judge which one is the true monkey king. Diffi** it was, even the Chinese God of Death cannot tell (or simply scared by the power each of them possessed). Finally a buddha thought of a way to identify the true Wukong and sealed the fake one. Interestingly, after this chapter, Wukong no longer represented a rebellious character, like he was before. Many people believed it was actually the Ture Wukong who was sealed. Our story started then. |
