Real make new Kaka bid Tuesday 31 July, 2007

Reports in the Spanish Press suggest that Real Madrid are ready to offer Milan ?0m plus Julio Baptista and Antonio Cassano for Kaka.
The Brazilian has been repeatedly paired with the Merengues over the past year, after President Ramon Calderon promised he would sign the player during his election campaign last summer.
Milan have always denied that they intend to let the trequartista leave, suggesting instead that he would soon be offered an extension to his current contract, which expires in 2011.
Spanish newspaper Marca claimed today that Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani and Real sporting director Predrag Mijatovic met in Forte dei Marmi last weekend where a new bid was made.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Los Blancos have prepared a ?0m bid, plus Milan target Baptista and Cassano, who Real are desperately trying to offload this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder, who is valued at ?2m and will gain EU citizenship today, is a target for the Rossoneri, who have yet to finalise a major signing during this year’s transfer market.
However, Milan’s position does not seem likely to change as Kaka has repeatedly been indicated as one of the symbols of the San Siro outfit.. |
