　　Mad World是美国电影《Donnie Darko》（死亡幻觉）的主题曲.同样是在片尾随着整个故事的结束,在男主角父母无声的眼泪中,缓缓的清澈钢琴声隐隐显起,之后在没有语言的音乐中展示了电影中相关人物的状态.Gary Jules其他的歌都不是这种风格的.非常简单的编曲,尤其是第一段只有钢琴的时候,略带沙哑的低沉嗓音,歌词反复的时候,有欲诉还休压抑着的悲伤.歌词现在看来会觉得偏激,但确实写出一种感受.初离校门踏进社会工作,无法适应真实社会各种冰冷无情的的现实,而可悲的是下一代也要继续重复这种种情况......原唱是英国惊惧之泪乐团 Tears For Fears.alex parks也有演唱过.

　　或者如果说是阿桑"疯了"的原曲会不会感觉有点熟悉?在CSI某一季里面片头很动听的插曲,一个男人微微有些沙哑的嗓音,低低的吟唱着.配合着清澈的钢琴伴奏,有点神秘,充斥着挥之不去的忧伤和绝望.CSI的剧集中,灯红酒绿的城市中,镜头被切割成上下两半.嘈杂的雨声,两辆车缓缓交错而过,驶向相反的方向.车上载着的人儿,完全没有意料到短短数小时后的死亡,夜幕的沉重感和对命运无法张控的无力感,就那么一点点的随着歌声弥漫开来.然后刺耳的枪声结束了一切......

最喜欢的还是Gary Jules 的版本，原唱的Tear For Fears 加了太多电子元素进去，感觉不太适合表达这首歌的意境。

阿桑翻唱的也不错，疗伤系歌手
