What I was trying to say is that the first expression does not capture exactly what the OP wanted, or so I assume, to express. The "Chinese version" of a game typically implies that the game is published and sold in China whereas the "Chinese translation" of a game simply means you have the Chinese language pack included in the game. Although in some cases the two expressions are interchangeable, it's best to use the more fitting one to avoid confusion.
