FAQ: How can I get all content? 怎样才能获得全部游戏内容？

The way to get almost all FM7 in-game content with the best bundled discount is to pre-order the digital download version of the Ultimate Edition directly from Xbox (console dashboard/Windows Store/Xbox app), but there are exclusives from separate retailers, and the Ultimate Edition may not include all future DLC:

Exclusive Driver Gear
Driver Gear is the suit and helmet worn by your driver in the game. The game will have many options available to all players, but there will be some limited access DLC options:
E3 attendees who visit the Forza booth will get a DLC code for E3-themed driver gear.

Hoonigan bonus pack for digital download pre-orders
GameStop pre-orders include an exclusive fire suit and helmet.

DLC: VIP Membership



The Windows Store states that VIP includes: "Exclusive cars, Mods, Driver Gear, and more await with Forza Motorsport 7 VIP membership! Forza Motorsport 7 VIP members receive exclusive VIP cars. VIPs will receive additional benefits including 100% CR bonus Mods, VIP Driver Gear, and more."

This DLC is included with Deluxe and Ultimate Edition pre-orders. In previous Forza games, the VIP DLC became available as an add-on for Standard Edition owners after game launch.

DLC: Day One Car Pack



The Day One Car Pack is included in Deluxe and Ultimate Edition pre-orders. It's not clear if this pack will be available as a separate purchase add-on for the Standard Edition after game launch. Note that the day-one car pack for FH3 was not included in the six-month Car Pass, which may be the same case for FM7. The Pre-Order Announcement does not give any details of the contents of this pack, just "Look for more details on these offers soon!"

Car Pass



The Car Pass is not a DLC itself, but a bulk discount on DLC that can be purchased separately. From the Windows Store description: "Get six monthly car packs at one low price. With the Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass, you'll always be dialed in to the latest and greatest cars in Forza Motorsport 7. The Car Pass brings you six monthly car packs (7 cars each). That's 42 amazing new cars in total, all waiting to be collected, customized, and raced for one low price. The Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass is available with the Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition."

In previous Forza games, the Car Pass became available as a separate add-on for Standard and Deluxe Editions. It has also been available to purchase at any time, allowing players to wait for all cars to be released before purchasing and getting the discount. In previous cases, there was no retroactive discount if a player purchased the Car Pass after having already purchased one or more of the included car packs. Turn 10 typically does not reveal the cars in each pack until days before its release. In previous cases, the Car Pass covered the months of October-March, and the Day One Car Pack was not included.

"Season" Pass and exclusions note
Players new to the franchise should be aware of how Turn 10 has offered the Car Pass in the past. The pass has covered six specified packs, not "any six," and has not included any other DLC. There may be additional DLC released for FM7 that would increase the total cost to obtain all content even further. Previous games have not offered a Car Pass 2. Be aware that the Car Pass offers nothing more than is listed; if that concerns you, you have the option to wait for reviews of the car packs before purchasing.
