The 23-year-old Stepanov is being courted by some of Europe's top clubs after impressing in the recent European Under-21 championships but Chelsea appear to have jumped to the head of the queue.

Stepanov revealed the Premiership champions have already been in contact and is now hoping a deal can be thrashed out.
