在与 <EGM> 杂志的专访中,他被问到是否会将 PS3 新发布的动作感应功能加到 <FF 13> 以及 <FF Versus 13> 中时,他说: "是的, 我们已经有idea了~"
Yoshinori Kitase 暗示说其实原本的计划是要在 PS2 上发布 <FF 13> ,然后把 <FF Versus 13> 作为 SE 社的第一款 PS3 游戏! 而并不是现在的两款同存在在 PS3 上~
Tetsuya Nomura 表示这两款产品有着完全不同的人设以及世界观! 
"也许以后我们会试着让两款游戏中的人物相逢 , 但是现在的话我们还是无可奉告..."
两款产品都会在2007年上市...

Tetsuya Nomura from Square Enix has revealed the company has plans to implement the PS3's motion-sensing capabilities in its next generation games.
In an interview with gaming magazine EGM, Nomura was asked if the controller's functionality, which was announced at E3 in May, would be used in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
"Yeah, we already have some ideas about how to use it."
Yoshinori Kitase, who was also being interviewed, suggested that the original plan was for FFXIII to be released on PlayStation 2, and have FF Versus XIII as the first next generation Final Fantasy title. Instead it was decided to bring both titles to the PlayStation 3.
Nomura stressed that the two games will have totally different characters set in a different worlds.
"There might be a possibility in the future to have them meet, but we're not sure about that yet."
FFXIII is currently scheduled for a 2007 release, with FF Versus XIII following the year after.
