CVG: How about E3 2006 - Seen anything exciting?
Kojima: I haven't had a lot of time to walk around the convention centre yet. My feelings are that the show has a little less energy than last year, even though I was really looking forward to the show so I could see Wii and PS3 games and Xbox 360 games a year on. I'd like to go and play Gears of War.[/COLOR] Also, I hear there's a GTA style game at the show where you try to steal panties (laughs). It's a very interesting idea and I'd like to check it out this afternoon. I understand they're giving away free panties...

IGN: 就你目前在 E3 看到的，什麽令你印象最深刻？
Keiji Inafune: 我只是刚到这里，所以有很多东西我还没看过。如果是指在秀展里面我所玩到的一样东西，那它就是 Gears of War。
IGN: 为什麽是它？
Keiji Inafune: 他是一款让我看到两件事的游戏。首先，单就一个玩家而言，它看起来很酷，让我想要玩。这款游戏有非常惊人的画面，动作和动画，游戏中的每一件事都运作的相当好。另外一点是，我身为游戏创作者，看到他们已经能够在这麽短的时间内把这个系统发挥的这麽好。Lost Planet 已经获得许多人的赞赏了，因为他们看到一款游戏中的每一件饰物都是那麽漂亮。如果要我们说有一款游戏稍微的领先我们，稍微挡在我们前面，它就是 Gears of War。我们很想仔细看到他们做了什麽，他们是怎麽办到的。
IGN: What's the most impressive thing about E3 you've seen so far?
Keiji Inafune: I just got here, so there's still a lot I haven't seen. If there was one thing at the show I had to pick up and play, it would be Gears of War.
IGN: Why's that?
Keiji Inafune: It's a title that I view with two different perspectives. One is, just merely as a gamer, it looks cool and I want to play it. It's a game that's got pretty amazing graphics, the motion and animation, everything's working out quite nicely with that game. The other perspective is, as a creator myself, to see just how far they've been able to push the system in such a short amount of time. Lost Planet itself has already received a lot of praise from a lot of people for looking like a pretty amazing game that's also pretty spectacular for all the things in it. If we were going to say there's one title that's slightly above us, that has slightly raised the bar above us, it would be Gears of War. We want to see exactly what they're doing and how they're doing it. |
