Reds boss hails have-a-go attitude
Sir Alex Ferguson says United's chances of winning their ninth Premiership title are now marvellous, thanks to a five-point lead, a superior goal difference and crucially the never-say-die spirit in his squad.
Although he was delighted with his side's 4-2 comeback win at Everton and Chelsea's simultaneous 2-2 draw with Everton, the United manager is mindful of the remaining few obstacles.
"It's obviously significant," said Sir Alex, referring to the five-point gap.
"But we're away to Manchester City next Saturday for a lunch-time kick-off after playing in Milan on Wednesday. We know what that can do to our players, it’s very diffi***. And then we’ve got Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. So we can’t count our chickens at this moment in time because football's football but I do think the marvellous attitude of our players and the spirit in the camp is going to help us.
“The momentum is obviously back with us with Chelsea drawing today. A five-point lead and a superior goal difference gives us an absolutely marvellous chance with three games left. But football’s football.
“The most important thing is the players are having a go. And if you’re having a go, with the finishers we’ve got in our side, we’re likely to score. That is a smashing attitude to have in the latter part of the season."
Sir Alex reserved a note of thanks for his friend Sam Allardyce, manager of Chelsea's stubborn opponents Bolton.
“Oh, he’ll be getting a hug and a kiss (from me). Maybe two kisses!”

"(領先5分)是非常重要的..!! 切爾西今天的失分給了我們動力 5分的領先和巨大的淨胜球優勢給了我們一個非常好的機會去獲得聯賽的冠軍..!! 但是我們依舊不能大意..!! 足球場上什麽都可以出現..!!"
"重要的是 我們的球員有一種豁出去的態度去比賽 只要我們這樣子去踢 進球遲早會出現的 這種態度在賽季末尾非常重要..!!"
