Hunter 1.06 Issue & Online Status Update

To the God of War: Ascension community,
Earlier today, the 1.06 “Hunter” update went live. It delivered two free new maps for Trial of the Gods mode—The Tower of Delphi and a modified Coliseum of Persia—and implemented a myriad of technical Multiplayer-centric fixes, including addressing exploits identified by the community.
Unfortunately, within minutes of deployment, alert players identified an isolated but critical issue that did not manifest during our extensive testing process; a limited number of players who updated to 1.06 and entered the Multiplayer mode experienced a reset of their Warrior XP.
While we were able to immediately retract the 1.06 update and prevent the issue from spreading, we understand this fact is little consolation to the players affected. To them, and to those temporarily prevented from playing online, we offer our sincerest apologies and our resolve to swiftly discover and enact a solution. We have identified the issue, generated a fix, and are in the process of heavily testing that fix, so that we can roll it out as soon as possible. We won’t rest until we’ve made this right for our dedicated community.
