Q:Can AI battles be fought passively? For example, I have an AI team, upload it, and while I'm away from the PS3, other people can battle my team.
■No, it is not possible.
Q:Are UNAC units able to be trained or leveled up in any way? If so what effect will that have on the sharing of UNAC units among other team members-if possible?
■UNAC units can be leveled up by using Operation Files or in-game CASH.
■When the level goes up, more sorts of chips become available or the cost limit gets increased.
■Sharing UNAC with other team members is not possible, but the UNAC data such as AC data can be traded among the team members.
Q:Are A.I.(s) only limited to gameplay experience, such as, they can be only sortied when assigned to do so while you're online, but cannot be en-tasked/cancel the sortie while you're offline?
■UNAC can be used off line. The OPERATION CUSTOM is also possible.
Q:On the screenshots of the new UNAC System there were a couple of screens that confused us, specifically the OPERATION CUSTOM screen and the UNAC EXTEND screen. Could you go into detail as to what these screens represent and what exactly it is that you can change in them?
■First of all, UNAC is the unmanned AC unit, or the AI controlled autonomous AC.
■On this ACVD, not only assembling the UNAC AC parts, but also customizing the AI’s logic became possible. (The customization is not an obligation but it is possible. For the beginners, the AI units with the preset data can be used as members for the sortie.)
■OPERATION CUSTOM is…
■It is to make the UNAC’s logic. This logic is also called OPERATION and the OPERATION is build with three layered structure called tree. Put the chips containing diverse commands called logic chips in this tree to complete the operation.
■Moreover, each parameter composing the chip can be adjusted by changing the values.
■UNAC EXTEND is as explained above.
■A user can go on a sortie with built UNACs as squad members.
■A team without team members can fight equally in a battle against a team with several members.
Q:Will UNAC units be able to switch back and forth between scan/combat mode like real players? Will they be able to hide behind buildings/terrain effectively?
■Switching between Scan and Combat modes are possible. (A specific chip should be used.)
■They don’t hide using the land but they do a boost drive (triangle jump) to dodge. Their frequency can be adjusted and customized.
Q:Does the UNAC mean we can attack territories without having to wait for the owner and his team to come online?
■UNAC doesn’t go out for a sortie automatically without the owner. It is an AI to help the co-op.
Q:Can you sell/buy player's UNAC schematics?
■Selling or buying player’s UNAC is not possible.
Q:Is it possible to switch from an UNAC to another during the match? which are the settings of UNAC?
■It is not possible to switch from a team member to a commander of UNAC (Operator) during battle.
Q:Can AIs take over defense when not online ( as in set up a defense team for the times you log off/away from the game ).
■There is no conception of protecting the territory. (Teams don’t fight over the territories.)
■Therefore, there is no need to defend your territory in absence.
Q:In the case that you sortie with UNACs, but you have a different player as the Operator, whose commands will the UNAC obey, the player whom the UNACs belong to, or the Operator? Also what happens if the UNACs belong to the Operator?
■After making the squad, at the briefing, whose commands UNAC will take can be selected.
Q:If there is an Operator, he/she will obligatory obtain the right to command the UNAC.
■When there is no Operator, a player needs to be selected. If this player gets destroyed during game, the command right will move to another player automatically.
■And it will be in the briefing order.
