我来,接着就请高手翻译了
As i've got a PStwo V13 last week i saw that $ony changed the PCB layout regarding to the Motor/Driver IC region... They added some semiconductor parts to the Motor IC MUTE line and stuff. Check it out at the picture included in this Kit.
This is the first time $ony ADDED parts and not SAVED parts !...
My first thought was that $ony fixed the Laser Coils burning Issue coz' they only changed this region...but i don't wanted to sit in front of it and press the
RESET Button every 20 seconds...
So i wrote a little assembly code for the PIC 10F206 that Powers ON & OFF
the PStwo automatically in a "REAL ENVIRONMENT" to provoke a Mechacon crash...
First i tested a V12 with a matrix infinity chip but without any laser fix...
The Coils burned after 1 hour...that proofs my stuff is working fine...
You can see it happen in the included video "V12_mechacrash.avi" where the burned Laser is lightning like a Lamp...you can see that the PIC is still working but the PStwo crashes not acting on button press...
The second Video "V13_testing.avi" shows the PIC in Action...i added 2 LEDs to show HIGH and LOW status...LOW means PRESS POWER BUTTON...
The third Video "V13_mechacrash.avi" shows the V13 Mechacon crashes...you can see the PIC's working but PStwo does nothing and Laser is ON...i just plugged OFF & ON power supply and the laser is still alive...$ony fixed it but they did not managed to Power off the PStwo like COMSOFT's fix does :D...the video is a bit too short as my digi cam only records 30 sec...
After several crashes my V13 is still working fine and this test's just proofing that for the new V13 there is no need for a Laser fix now !
One of the results off my tests were that there is absolutely no difference
between our 5 Volt ICE Chip and for example the 3.3 Volt matrix infinity
chip regarding to the mechacon crash issue...as some mod teams stated before for promotion reasons...a 5 Volt MCU based Chip cause the PStwo to crash not more or less often than a 3.3 Volt powered FPGA based Chip.
The crash is issued due to a communication error between DSP, mechacon and the modchip...it is related to the authorization process and would need
a long time to fix by a mod team...maybe never...
Another result was that the crash only appears to a PStwo fitted with a modchip...it has also crashed with a modchip booting Original Games ! So the crash has nothing to do with blank media as some guys suggested...
My V13 never crashed without a modchip !
Someone could think that $ony has done that especially for the modchip scene ! thank for it...
It is still not clear and still to test if $ony's fix also protect the laser diode from burning... |
