用法： Please find the attached file of the USBeXtreme format tool and converting tool:
ul_format.exe and ul_install.exe
To format a harddisk for using with USBeXtreme, please install the harddisk into
a USB HDD enclosure and plug into your PC.
Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management, find the
"Disk Management¨ in the tree diagram, initial the newly installed harddisk,
create a partition and assign a drive letter to the harddisk, but you don't
need to format the partition, we will format the harddisk by using the ul_format.exe.
After creating the partition, copy both ul_format.exe and ul_install.exe into root
directory of C:\ and go to Start -> Run, enter "cmd¨ NT/2K/XP or "command" in 98/ME
(without quotes) and press Enter to go to command prompt.
Change to C:\> and Enter
C:\>Ul_format XX format
Where XX is the drive letter you assigned to the USB harddisk. Formatting of a harddisk
will take a few minutes. Remember not to unplug the USB harddisk or power it during this
period.
After the formatting is done, you can convert games from your PC's DVD/CD-Rom to it.
To do this, please go to command prompt the command of converting games is as follow:
C:\> ul_install SourceDrive TargetDrive Name CD/DVD
e.g. If you want to convert a DVD game "Metal Gear Solid¨ and your PC's DVD Rom is
drive D and the USB harddisk is E, the command should be:
C:\>ul_install D E MetalGearSolid DVD
Enter the command above and press enter, the game will then convert to the USB harddisk.
After converting a game, you can now plug the USB harddisk to your PS2 and boot up the PS2
with USBeXtreme disk to run the game.
