So I went to the midnight launch at Gamestation last night, got home, put the disc in and after selecting the campaign the whole screen just freezes. So I try not to panic, restart the console and try local multiplayer. I get 2 seconds in to a Team Deathmatch on Checkout and it freezes again.

I take the disc out, check it for any scratches (not that there should be, it's brand new for crying out loud), give it a rub with a cloth and try again. Same thing.

Press start -> Versus -> Private -> Warzone -> 'You are about to start a match' -> FREEZES!!! Argh!

I tried some other games just to check it's not the xbox. Gears 1, 2, COD: Black Ops, Forza 3, *** 2, Halo:Reach all work fine and always have done.

I then tried installing the disc onto the hard drive. It reached about 45% then the error message came up 'The disc is unreadable. It could be dirty, rub it with a cloth' etc etc. How? It's literally only been from the case into the xbox.

So this morning I went back to Gamestation, explained what had happened. After inspecting the disc they said there had been some 'laser burn'. They then exchanged the disc and told me to 'be more careful' which was a bit cheeky, considering I haven't done anything wrong. You'd think I'd repeatedly smashed it with a hammer or something.

Got back home an hour ago, and nope. Exact same situation. This is the ONLY game I have been looking forward to all year, WHY does this have to happen to me now?!?!

Can anyone give me a good idea of what might be wrong? How come the Gears 3 disc isn't working but everything else in my collection is?

I'm worried if I go back to Gamestation they won't exchange it again.

大致意思：游戏安装到部分爆盘脏，直接光盘游戏loading画面死机黑屏等等，已经不少玩家跟帖相同问题，更换光盘似乎无法解决，此问题再新老版本机器上都有发生，估计和微软光驱兼容性有关，大陆玩家注意下，因为你们是没有保修的！
