最新３Ｄ技術の勉強会立体的に映像が見える３Ｄのテレビやゲーム機の発売が相次ぐ中、札幌を拠点にゲームソフトなどを開発している企業が、大手企業の担当者を招いて勉強会を開きました。
この勉強会は、最新の３Ｄの技術を学び、ゲームやカーナビのソフトの開発に応用しようと、札幌のソフトウェア開発企業が開き、プログラマーなどおよそ６０人が参加しました。
講師には、大手のゲーム会社から開発担当者２人が招かれ、最新の３Ｄ技術の現状などについて講演しました。
この中で、ソニーのゲーム機の開発担当者、堀川勉さんが、ことしの秋に発売が予定されている次世代ゲーム機の設計仕様などを説明しました。
また、ゲームソフトを発売しているバンダイナムコゲームスの今給黎隆さんは「３Ｄテレビの登場などでこれからは、物の形や質感も実物に近い映像が求められる。登場人物にもより人間らしい動きが求められる」と今後のソフト開発の方向性について述べました。
札幌市には「サッポロバレー」とよばれるコンピューターソフトを開発する企業群があり、およそ２万人が働いていますが、最近は、福岡市や中国、韓国などとの間で開発競争が激しくなっています。
