Square Enix hasn't talked about Final Fantasy Versus XIII much, but during a Korean launch event for Final Fantasy XIII, a small tidbit of information on the status of Versus surfaced.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been kept a secret for a couple years, and earlier in the year it was stated by Square Enix that the title may not be at E3, which is coming this June. With E3 just a few weeks away, it is sounding like Versus XIII won't be at the show. In an interview with the development team (via NeoGAF) at the Korean Final Fantasy XIII launch, it was said that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is advancing well and Square Enix will release new information when the time is right. If E3 is passed on, the Tokyo Game Show is sounding like the most viable option to debut the game to the Japanese public.
Aside from a world map, some characters, and some short trailers, Versus XIII remains a mystery to all. Hopefully, we'll hear more on this PS3 exclusive relatively soon. As of now, the title still remains a PS3 exclusive, but some recent comments from Square Enix head Youchi Wada, has made many speculate that game could potentially head multiplatform.

it seems that the Versus XIII and Final Fantasy XIII stories may overlap and be closer than we first thought as IMDB's listing for <a href=http://www.***.com/title/tt0960140/>Final Fantasy Versus XIII</a> suggests that at least two of the Englsh voice actors from Final Fantasy XIII will also be recording voices for Versus XIII.
The page suggests that Daniel Samonas will be recording a voice for Maqui (pictured below), who is part of Snow's gang in Final Fantasy XIII.
It also suggests that Erik Davies will be recording a voice-over for Cid Raines (pictured below), just as he did in Final Fantasy XIII.

消息再次更新，野村哲也将亲临今年e3现场！！
Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto broke the news on the Japanese Twitter of Square Enix’s Members group.
“Next week, after a long time, Director Nomura will go on a business trip to E3,” he tweeted.
What could happen with Nomura at E3 is unknown. Hell, could be nothing, but the assumption may be that a re-reveal for Versus XIII might be back on the cards again, having previously said that it may not make the event earlier this year.
