IMHO, you are just not aware why you are playing game now. It may be also because of the shrink of the fun the nowadays games bring to you as your demand increased. They change a lot, become more like eye-candies or more complex but usually lose the aethetic of the simpleness or the true appealingness specially in the long term.
BUT all of those are not crucial.
As to me, the game means to me is just to show me the special idea or some ideology or some new aspect of the world or new knowledge or even individual philosophy. So i played almost all genres of the games even so-called "little games" too and if the game no longer brings me more, i just simply desert it. That's all.
So just think about what the game means to me ,buddy.
BTW, your words have just reminded me YangYang in the film by Yangdechang, who said "i think i am aged too" with the age of about 14, hehe.
如今对新作的热情越来越少，像psp上的刚破解的王国之心，就是没动力去玩，之前1和2代都是打通关的，反而玩旧游戏时会觉得很兴奋和激动，像今年我通关的游戏里就多数是老游戏，比如FF9，幽城，大航海4，ICO等，我也觉得我玩的不是游戏，是回忆，现在对新作还比较有动力就只有机战系列了（本来还有一个实况系列的，但在多年前已死去，如今已不报希望了）[Replied by WAP]
