I think they are mostly refering to the MAX Memory producted offered by Datel. The Memory Card allows for 16GB of storage via a SDHC Card. I don't think modded HDD's will be affected. Unless Microsoft can track the HDD's Security Sectors and ban HDD's that have the same info. Anyways, I think its petty of Microsoft to block products like MAX Memory.

我认为微软此次指的是max memory产品，这个产品可以通过连接sdhc卡来使记忆卡扩充至16GB。我不觉得自制的硬盘会受到影响，除非微软可以检测到硬盘的安全扇区。不管怎样觉得只是微软想收拾一下max产品而已

If they do block the HDD',s do you think they'll delete the content on the HDD's as part of the update. I suppose it would be safer for me to copy my files using Xplorer360 prior to the update just in case.

Do you also think that thay'll wield the ban hammer because of it?

Can't see how they can ban people personally. As nastyn8 says, some people have bought fake hdd's of ebay thinking they were real...

Will be interesting to see what happens

这个xd说得挺对，很多老外在ebay上买了便宜的硬盘，觉得是真的，可是事实是组装的，如果那样，将会有很多老外要投诉微软了。。。.

我想他们大多都是指由Datel供应的的“极限记忆”产品。这种记忆卡允许通过SDHC卡使用16GB的储存空间。我不认为改装的硬盘会受到影响。除非微软能检查到硬盘的安全扇区还有会封锁具有相同信息的硬盘。无论如何，我想微软这样卑鄙的手法去阻止产品就像“极限记忆”那样。
