Over the past few months, many rumours have come about Gran Turismo being released in 2009 in Spring and Winter. However, it seems this will no longer be the case. In an interview over at Import Tuner with Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital, he said he hasn’t spent a lot of time on GT5, but focused more on GT5: Prologue. He said many updates are still in the works for Prologue and GT5 will not see the light till some time in 2010 (as originally intended). It seems he didn’t put attention to GT5, but wanted to fine tune Prologue first.

• As good as Prologue is, what can we expect in the full version of GT 5?
  To be honest, I haven’t given a lot of thought to GT 5, so I don’t have an answer. And it’s too early to talk about GT 5 because we still have updates coming out for Prologue.
  
  
• Is there an ETA on GT 5?
  It won’t be this year and nothing’s scheduled for next. It may be out in 2010, but like I said, we haven’t really discussed it yet.

看来GT5P和GT5是两个游戏，GT5是GT5P的正统续作。。。。。GT5看来是得到PS4上去了。。。。。
