在近日举行的财政年结算会议上，岩田聪表示：任天堂最近面临的困境（主要在3DS上），和外部智能手机带来的冲击因素没有直接的因果关系，种种调查公司分析师得出的这种说法纯粹是扯蛋！

岩田聪强调，真正的玩家会懂的拥有一台游戏机而不是智能手机，因为游戏机提供的益处远远高于任何品牌的智能手机。3DS的大幅降价会重新吸引消费者回到游戏机怀抱，至少这是一个期望。

Point le plus important pour Iwata, le fait que les joueurs savent reconnaître l'intérêt des jeux sur consoles portables, qu'il estime bien supérieur à la plupart des titres sortants sur smartphone. La baisse de prix de la 3DS et l'arrivée d'une ludothèque plus attirante pour le consommateur devrait donc changer la donne, du moins espérons-le.

Rappelons qu'à ce même briefing, Satoru Iwata a annoncé que le prix, la date de sortie et les spécificités de la Wii U ne seront dévoilés qu'en 2012.
