Purpose of this Project
This project is all about paying homage to the video game characters that have inspired and enthralled us for generations. I'll never forget the first time I transformed into Fierce Deity, or unlocked the coveted Black Yoshi. We give our heart filled thanks to the creative geniuses who thought up these characters and breathed life into them, as they changed our lives forever.
To honor these various characters, we have begun a project replacing two costumes of each character of smash with a new one. Sometimes it's a creative color change, sometimes it's a completely new character.
What We Hope to Accomplish
We want you to go "Oh yeah! I remember that character!". We want you to go "Who is that guy?" and discover a new game you may have otherwise never bought. We want to extend the life of Brawl as long as possible, as it is an absolutely amazing title.
Who We Are
Ghosteo:
Creative artistic genius. He's the one doing the actual texture redesigns. Many of these textures have taken entire days, as Ghosteo hand-draws a great deal of our textures. His previous accomplishments include creating his own strategy RPG, designing a Super Metroid Trials map (not for the feint of heart!), along with a plethora of other creative works. Raganook:
Hex editting maniac. Has no artistic ability whatsoever, and so essentially does everything that requires no creativity whatsoever, such as inserting new textures into the game. Also in charge of keeping the community updated! Previous accomplishments include being a translator on the FFTA2 translation project, as well as lead translator and co-programmer on the FFIV Translation project.
Skyos:
Our media expert. Helps out whenever he can, takes screenshots, uploads videos. Indispensable.
Cryos:
Assistant artist. A very talented artist who helps out whenever we need him.
