Well, been testing a few different things here and have a few more things to try but here is what I have so far.
SSBB working on Wiikey -RDL and +RDL. No problems reading the discs.
SSBB NOT working on D2CKey -RDL and +RDL. The disc most of the time does not even spin up, if it does spin up, all I get is clicking going on... Laser is having a hell of a time trying to read these discs (Same discs that worked with the Wiikey).
SSBB NOT working on the Argon... Same probs as D2CKey.
I am going to try burning a couple more at a slower speed (All the above were burned at 8x). I'll report my findings when I am done.
Just a theory here but besides the code being different between the Wiikey and D2CKey, another difference is the drive speed. Wiikey 1.9g is stuck at the lower drive speed of 3x, and the D2CKey is stuck at 6x since we have no way of slowing it down. I am wondering if this is effecting SSBB an the Wii's ability to see through to the 2nd layer? Just a theory anyway.
Update : Flashed one of my chips back to 1.9b and set the disc speed to 6x and guess what, discs no longer even spin up... I am thinking drive speed has a lot to do with this.
主要原因是wiikey将光驱读取速设置在3X,而D2Ckey把光驱读取速度设置在6X,而我们没有办法设置以降低D2C读取速度,因此造成读取速度太快导致无法读出刻录盘。这个测试者又试着把wiikey的转速设置为6X,然后wiikey也白屏了,这下大家明白了吧?
至于为什么D2C支持正版,我想可能一个原因是正版比刻录碟更易读取,或者是其他的原因?期待强人解释. |
