We have received word from InfinityMods.com that they have acquired the World's first X-Box 360 mod-chip and are currently testing it. If all goes well, they claim sales will begin within two weeks time. Price is expected to retail for around $70 each, with 20-30 wires and an install time of approximately 25 minutes. The alleged X-Box 360 mod-chip is said to be able to direct-boot back-ups, dumped iSOS, and also full rips according to Team LiThIuM. The Web site for their new mod-chip is currently Under Construction we're told, however, it is accessible via www.ICEModChip.com for those who wish to monitor it for progress and development updates.
With that being said, we're also aware that a group by the same name (coincidence? ) recently put out their XBOX 360 Boot Disk Edited NTSC READNFO-LiThIuM release on the net which was nuked due to being labeled as fake/non-working. Case and point? Take this news as we've labeled it- as only a RUMOR at best. Of course if their X-Box 360 mod-chip does indeed surface, then we'll be happy to update our Site News accordingly... but if history repeats itself then chances are good it will remain as only a RUMOR.  . |
