How to score from outside the box?

1stly DONT hold sprint whilst shooting.. most of the time the shot will just rise over the bar, slow the player down, make sure they have a bit of space and then let the shot go. Try the odd Finesse Shot as well as they usually trouble the keeper if not go in.

2ndly try some trickery e.g. a lot of turns to make some space for the person in possession of the ball that you want to shoot with. I take a lot of Fake Shots which tricks CPU Defenders and you can move away from them and have space for your shot.

3rdly, Be Realistic!.... if your shooting with someone who isnt known for their long range efforts the likelyhood is you wont score with them from distance.

4thly if using Semi or Manual Shooting dont be too erratic when moving the stick whilst releasing the shot.... otherwise your player will drag it wide, try subtle movements. [s:244]  [s:244].
