The delightful melodrama, over-the-top transformations, powerful spells, or the game that manages to buck those tropes all hold a special place in our heart. Which is why, IGN put together a list of our top 25 JRPGs with a twist. We’ve chosen to limit ourselves to a single entry in a franchise – so there’s a strong possibility that your favorite Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, or insert franchise entry here was in contention but ultimately didn’t make it. But enough talk – let’s get to the list.
