I'm really bad with introductions, but I guess I should finally get this out of the way since I found this forum.

   So as the title suggest I'm a Kunoichi speedrunner in the US who still plays this game in the year 2017. Shocking? I know. It's one of my favorite PS2 games and I've been speedrunning the game since 2015, but have seen older Shinobi / Kunoichi speedruns since 2008 thanks to lyzblade youtube account. I mostly do full game runs using Hisui on easy diffi***y, but I have done a couple of runs using Hotsuma and Hibana, although they're both not that great lol. Reason why I play on easy diffi***y is mainly because it's easier to perform quick kills with Hisui / Hibana as opposed to normal with more access to charge meter. Although I am aware that normal diffi***y is the standard diffi***y to play on for leaderboards here so I'll be sure to play on normal if I decide to do a IL TA. My fastest time is 34:31 In-game time, but I know I can bring that down much lower with better play and guidance. I came across this board thanks to Ergeniz pointing me here. Sadly he doesn't play, but thanks to his and other player videos I was able to get to the skill level I am now, but I think I can be better. I also learned NOT to use google translate to type in Chinese lol.

   I've been routing and practicing Hisui for a year and a half now by myself so I have a feeling I'm missing out on a lot of ways to save time and go faster and with no one to really help me out right now I'm kinda lost. Kunoichi isn't a popular speed game in the US...or well anywhere else for that matter nowadays.

   I also found my older Kunoichi speedrun using Hotsuma and a couple of my Shinobi runs on youku. I was shocked cause I didn't think anyone would bother re-uploading them. Not that I mind, but I kinda hoped they would've asked. I would've given them a much better run myself for both games.

Thanks! Even if you don't play anymore just the thumbs up means a lot. I'm not really running Kunoichi to have a revival, but it'd be really cool if interest was to spark back up again and get a couple of people interested again.

楼主：谢谢！就算你不玩K忍但是你给我的肯定对我来讲已经足够了。我现在之所以还对这个游戏这么执着，也不是因为想复兴过去那个巅峰时代，只是想能通过我的努力还能唤起一部分人对这个游戏的兴趣并让他们重新拿起手柄时不时耍上两盘，这就是我最大的心愿，这样多酷啊

LZ很喜欢用非水，K忍我只会用男忍，帮不了你。加油。

另外，只看了第一关，为节约时间可以跳出飞机提前撞爆导弹，后面水上汽艇那关也是一样的思路。

You're really a fanboy of Hisui, I only play Hotsuma and Joe so there's nothing I can help, but still, keep up the great work. By the way, I've only watched the 1st stage video, you can actually jump out of the plane for blowing up missiles instead, it will save bit more time, and the same strategy on stage 9.

Hahaha yeah well she's a cutie so what can I say.

I never considered jumping off the plane and boats on Stage 09 to kick the missles back to be faster. I'll have to keep that in mind for the next time I start doing runs again.

喜欢用翡水因为她是萌妹。
他说之前没试过跳出飞机撞爆导弹，等他安顿下来以后会试试看，目前楼主还在灾区，预计下周一回老家

I was able to practice a bit of the final boss on Normal diffi***y and found a easy variation for a quick kill. I think I can shave off 4-5 secs with optimal luck. Sadly Hibana can't seem to replicate this.

楼主尝试了一下翡水normal最终boss的速杀打法，找到点新思路，运气好的话还能节约个4-5秒，可惜用绯花的话就行不通了

顺便，楼主平安归来了，目前在老家修身养性

This run wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I had mostly bad luck on most of the bosses and my movement wasn't all that great. I can easily improve this time with Hisui and I plan to do that.

这套流程时间比他预计的要好一点，但是失误的地方不少，boss战的运气也差了点，走位也不理想，浪费了很多时间，保守估计打进37分以内没问题，这是他目前的目标

I decided to try and practice a SURVIVAL TA and I decided to play SURVIVAL 02 alongside doing full game runs. I was able to get a 02'16''07 IGT and I feel there's a lot luck with enemies randomly deciding to block attacks and slow you down. I stll have progress to make and I want to get a 02'00''00 IGT before I ask to upload to bilibili. I did upload to my personal youtube channel however...

目前练习剧情模式TA的同时也在练习SURVIVAL模式，SURVIVAL 02的成绩小有突破，见图，这关运气成分很重，敌人会随机选择防御拖慢很多时间，这关预计目标2分钟以内，届时传B站更新

第一关应该提前冲过去撞导弹，还有就是站位更合理一点点，还能在提高一下。

第二关用了邪道，时间已经少了不少，操作再提高一点点就好了。第三关也是小的操作的情况。第四关，雷速和打风车boss需要再提高。

第5关也是操作的小问题，运气也差了点。第6关车与车的衔接还可以更好一些。第7关主要就是手里剑的运用还需要提高。第8关就是往上面走的时候的操作还可以提高。

第9关和第1关一样，主动去撞导弹更快一些。第10关用了邪道，时间已经少了很多，有的地方的操作还可以改进。第11、12、13关有小瑕疵，但整体不错。

总体来说，楼主的水平虽然没有非常厉害，但已经是很不错了。我吧，男忍偶尔还玩下，女忍确实是很久没玩了。虽然本人是个渣渣，但看了楼主的视频，我觉得我也应该去重温一下女忍了。楼主如果不嫌弃，有qq的话，可以加中国忍专区的qq群，大家一起交流shinobi和kunoichi。群号是35863753。

Basically he said in stage1&9, you can actually jump out and bump the missiles instead of kicking back, it'll save more time, the glitch which you use in stage 2&10 is impressive, saves a lot of time, but the movement can be still improved a bit, stage 4 need a little bit more practice of the Raijin dash and boss fight, stage 6 you can do better movement for jumping back and forth between vehicles, stage 7 need a little bit more practice of the shuriken skill, stage 8 you can do better movement for going up the platform. Other stages you did great, just practice bit more and you can do better.At last he thinks you're a high skilled player, although it's not that super good but it's good enough, and you successfully regenerate his interests of this game and he plan to pick up the game again after watched your videos, and he invite you to join their QQ if you don't mind

感谢楼主加群，这个群就是以前U C G热血最强视频最后公布的群号。虽然现在说话的人不多，但是能现在还在聊的，肯定也是忍系列的超级粉丝了，里面也有现在还在玩的人。我吧，忍系列玩的水平实在是一般，不过确实是最爱这个游戏，也收藏了不少忍系列的正版。以后可以和楼主一起交流女忍了。话说楼主在美国，美版女忍和欧版女忍的名字并不是kunoichi，而是nightshade。

这个当然知道，他玩的就是美版nightshade，录像标题也用的这个，说kunoichi是因为这个名字更正统

Telling him of course you're playing the US version nightshade, the name kunoichi is more commonly used

I decided to finally get back into the Shinobi and Nightshade speedrun grind after my Super S Rank No Damage playthrough of Shinobi. I might not be doing all stages, but I do intend on doing my favorite stages with Hotsuma until I get a desirable time on those stages. I'm still trying to get used to him in Nightshade and I know I have a ways to go, but I plan on improving in Nightshade and Shinobi.

楼主又回来了，继上次S忍Super无伤S那套流程后，打算继续他的TA流程（S忍及K忍)，这次选用角色为秀真，暂时不打算做全关，计划先拿一些自己喜欢的关卡练习一下直到刷出一个能看的成绩为止，他玩K忍用秀真的水平不行，仍在学习适应中，希望能尽快提高自己的技术

Much solid improvement, but kills on flying enemies and last two waves are too slow. Any tips to stop flying enemies from blocking as Hotsuma? They seem to end my runs more than anything else.

K忍秀真第5关新成绩。清飞空的及最后两波杂兵的速度太慢了，飞空的杂兵太烦了，格挡几率贼高，浪费了太多时间，各位大大有什么好办法吗？

Improvement is improvement. Even if it's just a little bit. I would be happy with a sub 01'48''00 at this point with Hotsuma.

尽管是很细微的提高也算是提高。。这关目前理想的目标是1分48

And I think no need to wait for others to help uploading to a Chinese video website. You can upload it to YouTube yourself. I myself watch game videos on YouTube more than Chinese sites.
