本次更新将从今日开始，陆续几周内完成，主要功能加入：

①在xbox.com将你的paypal账号与xbox live账号结合以达成使用paypal消费（MS点数、金会员、随选游戏等）的功能。
②若未操作主机达一个小时以上，主机自动进入低功耗待机状态（可在主机设置中配置）。
③光盘格式升级确认。

I am happy to announce that, as a part of a new Xbox 360 System Update, we’re expanding our integration with PayPal to allow U.S. and international Xbox LIVE users to make purchases on their Xbox 360 consoles with their PayPal accounts.* Once you’ve linked your PayPal account to your Xbox LIVE account on Xbox.com, you’ll be off and running to use it as a billing option, allowing you to buy content such as Microsoft Points, Xbox LIVE Gold subscriptions and Games on Demand titles.

We are rolling out the Xbox 360 System Update gradually to all Xbox LIVE users starting today and throughout the next couple weeks to ensure a high quality deployment. Just like any other update to our service, you will know you’ve received it when you turn on your Xbox 360 console, connect to Xbox LIVE and receive a notification to download the update. It’s important to note that it may take a few days to make its way around the globe. Thanks for your patience if you don’t get it right away!

This particular update will also bring an auto-standby feature that places your console on standby if it’s idle for more than one hour, helping to reduce power consumption. This feature will be automatically enabled after you download the update. You can change this setting in the System Settings on your console.

Finally, thank you to all who participated in the preview program for this Xbox 360 System Update. Your contributions helped us prepare for the updated Xbox 360 disc format capability that comes with this release.

XBOX 360 ISO上已经有刷LT+的机器更新完毕，发出了初步的测试结果，以下为原文：
1. When my flashed Xbox 360 connect to Xbox live and did an update, the dvd drive was back to brand new original firmware which causes :

- No burned games works
- No NON-JTAG thing works.

2. I reflashed my Xbox 360 with LT+ v1.1 firmware after that update :

- Burned games work again except all AP25 games we have known ( black screen remain till you reset the console ). I just tested with those AP25 games and some games I am playing, here is result :

+ Fable 3, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, NFS Hot Pursuit, Halo reach, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops don't work anymore since they maybe have new AP25 check ( 6 AP25 games had been pre-patched with latest AP25 through current abgx software ( v1.0.5 ). For some reports before, people said Black Ops and Modern Warfare AP25 were removed on new dash, but sorry this is wrong, they have new AP25 and we have to wait till new AP25 patches release.

+ Super Street Fighter 4, Fifa 11, L.A. Noire still work as normal. These are games I'm currently playing.

+ Non-JTAG things wont work anymore, even you reflash your console or not, these incredible things are completely gone for now.

3. As some rumors before, the xbox itself will reflash the DVD drive back to original ( everytimes it reboots, this is completely wrong because after the update, I reflashed with LT+ firmware then reboots my xbox about 10 times and the LT+ still there, no problem with it.

PS : I have Lite-on 93450c on Jasper v2 ( MFR date : 2009-11-09 ).

I don't have BenQ or Samsung Drives, so if anyone asks for information about these drives, please wait for other people who using these to report.

1.更新完毕后，光驱确实被重写为最新原版官方固件
2.更新完毕后，重刷LT+,出现以下结果：
+除了带AP2.5的游戏（打过补丁也没戏）以外均能正常运行（AP2.5游戏有神鬼3,兄弟会, 极品飞车Hot Pursuit, 致远星,COD6, COD7）
+超级街霸4, Fifa 11,黑暗洛城这几个游戏运行正常
+Non-JTAG(就是通过某个特定的设定档免费玩随选游戏和小游戏)的全军覆没
3.升级完后再刷LT+固件，光驱固件不会再次被自动刷回原版（非以前流传的每次开机都会自动刷回原版固件）（但这并不意味着微软没有发现和记录你的机器信息）
报告者的机器型号为 Lite-on 93450c Jasper v2 ( MFR date : 2009-11-09 )
报告者没有以前超老的三星和明基光驱，无法测试这两种是否一样的结果

+如果你想在更新后刷回LT+固件，请确认你已经备份了你的DVD KEY，如果在升级之前没有备份，很悲剧，升级后刷不了LT+了
+个人理解：需要等待新的固件才能玩转以后的XGD3

+You must have your dvd's key before doing the dashboard update, if you dont backup the key right now, after doing update, your console will have brand new firmware with currently unreadable firmware. And you won't be able to play burned game from now on. Just get the key, do the update, then reflash it with saved key.
+To my understand, we must wait for LT+ v2 firmware releases, flash the drive with it to play new format disc ( XGD3 )

+另一帖报告：确认明基光驱升级后也会被重写，当再次刷回LT+时，序列号发生改变
原文：I can confirm BenQ drive was 'reflashed' (more on this in a minute) after update. Upon re-reflashing it, it works fine with games not having AP25...
However, when re-reflashing my drive, I did notice that the serial info was all 0's (may have been one that wasn't a 0, I was in a hurry), none the less the serial stuff was all fuxor'd... just reloaded old FW and re-flashed in a jiff...
Can't wait for new patch to AP25... already miss my COD:BO

官网的离线更新文件这几天应该就会出来吧

地址应该还是 http://www.xbox.com/system-update-usb 但这个目前还是12625，应该过几天就换成13146的了。

就是SKY上面那种不花钱也可以玩到随选游戏和小游戏的方法，这个漏洞已经完全被堵上

那么每次更新还是有可能刷新光驱的，以前说法不是说每次开机吧，是每次更新。。

可能就是光盘格式变掉，应该没刷成原始固件那么惨手。。

微软刷固件只是为了支持XGD3，所以只是一次性的
