跟大家分享一下我改GOW2存档的方法, 看懂后并不难, 大家可以随时随意地按自己意思去改.
GOW2存档里可有3个存点, 而每个存点里有2个地方是武器装备所在, 一个新一个旧, 但游戏中会换着位置来使用, 没有固定位置, 所以必需自己去找.并且过大关卡时武器都会被刷新, 所以想从头到尾改着玩一遍的话, 还是需要改几次, 但当你搞明白后, 改一次存点就只是几十秒种的功夫了.
如果你没改存档的经验, 以下图文可能一下看起来会比较昏, 不过你只是需要点时间, 凡事都有第一次的...
为了减少混淆, 建议大家先把自己之前的GOW2存档备件好, 开一个新的存点来试改.
用Xplorer360等软件把 GOW2存档从 4D53082D 文件夹里提取(指南)出来后, 用WINHEX打开,

接着按下图里的 查找文本 键：

按入 GearPawn_COGMarcus 后, 按确定:

就可找到第一组武器装备所在:

接着按一下 F3 键, 就可找到第二组武器装备所在:

游戏就是用那二组数据中的一组来进行游戏的, 一般可通过手上武器来看出目前是在用那组.
武器装备的排列很简单, 就是 武器代号 00 00 00 子弹

如上图, 武器代号后面隔开6个0后的就是子弹数目了.
***子弹数目可改为 FF FF, = 65535
手雷数目可改为 27 0F, = 9999
以下是改过子弹数目后的图, 蓝色字体就是改过子弹数目后:

接着把 Gears2Checkpoint 存档好, 按最下面的修复方法修复存档后, 就可以读档去爽了.
当你成功改出子弹数目, 熟练了后,就可尝试更好玩的换武器了.
换武器是要按一定的条件来换, 就是只能长代码的可改为短代码, 因为存档位置是不可改动的.

做法是把比原来武器代码要短或一样的武器代码贴上去, 短出来的数位用0来补回去, 而子弹数目位置就不变.
以下是一个把*** COG Pistol改为散弹枪 Shot gun 的示范:
修改前, *** COG Pistol

到最上面的武器代码列表里把 散弹枪 Shot gun 的代码复制一下,
到WINHEX里面, 在*** COG Pistol代码 GearGame.GearWeap_COGPistol 的第一个G字上面按鼠标右键, 选择 编辑E :

接着选 剪贴板数据 -> 写入:

如下图选 确定 就OK了.

把Shot gun 的代码写入后, 因比之前短的关系,COG Pistol 的 ol 长了出来:

这时把鼠标移到长出来的 ol 的 o 上, 到左边把 o 的16进制码 6F 改为 00, 而 l 的16进制码 6C 又改为 00,顺便改改子弹吧, 以下就是改好后的图:

接着把 Gears2Checkpoint 存档好, 按最下面的修复方法修复存档后, 就可以读档去爽了.
大家按着这个思路来做, 就可以换武器, 但太不靠谱的还是不会成功的 (特别是GearGameContent那类) 大家灵活运用, 慢慢尝试吧...
兽族的冲锋枪 Locust Assault Rifle 在游戏初期很常见, 大家可好好利用. 做法是捡到它后, 一过存点就可关机取出存档来改了.
提示:
兽族的*** Locust Burst Pistol 在游戏中期很常见, 也是最长的代码, 大家可要好好利用它哦! 嘿嘿...
队员的枪也可以换哦! 查找 GearPawn_COG队员名称 (如 Dom 是: GearPawn_COGDom) 就像改主角一样, 可换他的枪, 但这个就留给有兴趣的人去发掘了.
修复存档
当你用WINHEX 改过并存档后, 需要用HBC来修复一下:
运行 HBC, File -> Open去打开你改过的 GOW2存档 Gears2Checkpoint,
接着如下图进 Tools 里选修复:

很快搞定后, 就可以灌回去爽了.
注意: HBC 只对没加校验的存档有效, 可惜很多RPG都带存档校验的....
改档失败的最可能原因
存档损坏:
存档没修复好.
一进主画面, 按开始就当机了:
改档时犯了很严重的错误.
进GOW2里看不到存档:
存档没灌好, 或存档被改动了大小(严重错误)
读取中死机了:
武器改错了, 或武器改得太不靠谱了.
进去后那改动过的武器不见了:
武器改错了, 子弹数目改错了, 或武器改得太不靠谱了.
